Agios Stefanos N/E Corfu
Agios (Saint) Stefanos is a small coastal settlement of Sinies, located on the North East coast of Corfu, 42 kms from Corfu town and only 6 kms from Kassiopi. This little fishing village has lately become a very popular ‘up market’ resort with many stylish villas. The place is extremely pretty and is situated within the shelter of hills that sweep down on either side, only 1.2 miles from the Albanian coast. Relaxing evenings can be spent in one of the several Tavernas or water front bars, looking across the narrows with Albania or watching the large cruisers passing by.
Agios Stefanos is a quiet resort attractive not only to couples, but popular also to larger families throughout the season.
There are plenty of comings-and-goings with boats (amusing to watch) and permanently private yachts anchored in the middle of the little bay. Whether you like ‘pottering’ to a quiet holiday routine, or enjoy renting a boat for some private exploration of the unspoiled coastline, there is something for everyone in Agios Stefanos.
Two extended and popular beaches are located near Agios Stefanos, Kerasia Beach in approx. 2.5 kms to the south and Avlaki Beach 3 kms towards the north, just outside lively Kassiopi.
A car is essential, but a boat is highly recommended should someone wish to explore the fabulous small beaches along the coast.
