Loutses Corfu

At 45 Km northeast of Corfu Town lies the charming village “LOUTSES”, at an altitude of 300 m above sea level, on the foot of Mount Pantokrator, with the name derived from Albanian roots and meaning place with hole in the ground full of water.
The village is surrounded by traditional olive groves, oak trees, crops and varying wildflowers.
From every point of the village you will discover more picturesque views of the surrounding hills and sea.
There is also a very large cave at Loutses and it is worth spending the time to find it. It is partially signed posted, but locals are happy to point you in the right direction if you are lost.
Lutses is a small village between Old Perithia (Conservation Area) and the beautiful beaches of Kalamaki, Apraos and St. Spyridon and is the ideal destination for family holidays.
The village has a restaurant and two cafe.
Should you visit Old Perithia you can taste the traditional Corfu dishes and desserts made from homemade receipies.
Nearby larger resorts you can find Acharavi and Kassiopi, with many tourist shops, supermarkets, shops, banks (in Acharavi), ATM and an excellent night life in both places.
