General
House On the Rocks, is a unique, luxurious, stone-built rental house, located on one of the most idyllic spots on the NE Corfu coastline, in Nisaki area, enjoying stunning panoramic views of the narrow straight between Corfu and the opposite coasts, with sunny terraces and a private pool.
House on the Rocks nestles literally ‘on the rocks’ above the picturesque Kaminaki Beach and thus receives its fitting name. It is a modern and luxurious property, totally private and secluded. It lies in two levels, and it is spacious for a family or party of up to six persons, which can gracefully stay in three large a/c bedrooms and bathrooms along with a 10m x 6m semi-circular private infinity pool.
Layout
Upper Level
A private stone pavement leads on the upper level of this charming villa, with lovely flowers alongside the pavement and the entrance. This part of the house consists of a living room, that opens out onto a shaded dining terrace with stunning sea views, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a double and a twin bedroom (both with private sea-facing balconies) and two bathrooms, located opposite the bedrooms. One is a bathroom and the other one shower room. (Living room is also air-conditioned).
In addition to the above, a spectacular roof- terrace, accessed via an external, separate staircase, is placed on the left top of the villa. It has the relevant sunbathing facilities and unparallel views to the South and the Ionian Sea.
Bottom Level, Pool and Terraces
An interior wooden staircase joins the upper living room with the ground floor’s second sitting room and a further twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom/shower. Both of them have direct access to the semi-circular infinity pool, which dominates the sea views in front of them. This unique pool looks and if it is hanging from the house terrace.
On the left-hand side of the main villa, the owner has sophistically established another sunbathing stone terrace, roofed and isolated, which is accessible via a small wooden bridge for some extra relaxation or freedom. The area resembles a small bar with a small freezer to keep refreshments handy.
Finally, at the pool level, on the right-hand side of the villa, there is a built barbecue area with all the necessary utensils to enjoy the experience.
The Location
Apart from its luxurious atmosphere, House on the Rocks offers a stunning location, far from it all, but – also – very close to the most popular beaches such as Agni, Kaminaki, Krouzeri, Nisaki and resorts like Kalami, Kassiopi, Nisaki, Barbati, which are less than a short drive away. This matter also makes this charming villa same to the one that we all would have ever dreamed of staying in some time.

Everything about the villa is spectacular

Excellent. Highly recommended.

Everything perfect!

The location is beautiful, absolutely private

We were staying at house on the rocks at the end of October for our honeymoon trip. The location is beautiful, absolutely private which is what we wanted. It is the perfect place to chill by the pool or on the balcony with a book and take in the stillness of the surrounding nature. The Tv and Wifi are not the best so take games, books, or anything to keep yourselves entertained, especially for the evenings when it's too dark outside to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We were surprised however to see that practically all of Corfu shuts down on the 31st October, besides the centre of Corfu town. So if you plan on visiting Corfu at the end of season, as they call it, be prepared - rent a car for sure as you will need it. And pack a jacket, it gets quite fresh at night!

Nisaki - Corfu
Nisaki is only a very small village, extended from the slopes of mount Pantokrator all the way down to the sea and it is located on the northeast coast of Corfu Island, just 25 kms from Corfu Town.
Nisaki, in the Greek language, means: “small island” and it is believed that took its name from the small island, which existed in its bay. Years ago, the locals used to work on this island, shaping stones and rocks for building, brought to them by boats. After many years, the chippings falling into sea formed a ramp and eventually joined the land. Now, there is a narrow road running between the old island, where a couple of Tavernas are standing and the mainland. Lately, a jetty was constructed, linking it permanently to the coast.
The main village of Nisaki was growing up on the hill, above this inlet, where a church, a school, a small cafe and village’s first houses were located.
In now days the village on its own is quite spread out and has got no real center. The main part of the village is alongside and upward the main coastal road. Above the main road there are 2-3 winding lanes that go up high, through olive groves and eventually join Nisaki with the top of Mount Pantokrator.
Hundreds of villas are scattered on the slops of the Mount, offering amazing views and making Nisaki, overall, a very popular resort, even though at most of the times a car would be necessary.
Nissaki is still an un-commercialized resort, but with unbelievable sceneries, promising a relaxing holiday. It is a tranquil village, ideal for family holidays, elderly couples and people who love traditional Greece. Young couples are also welcome, as the area offers a choice of nightlife just a few kilometers further up, in Kassiopi and / or Ipsos.
Sports and nature
Scuba Diving: Nisaki Beach has clear, calm waters, so it’s a great place for a spot of scuba. There’s a diving school right in front of the cove that caters for all levels. Buy Olive wood souvenirs: Visitors flock from nearby resorts to Nissaki’s beachfront gift shop, The Loom, which is in a 400-year-old house. A breath away from the usual line in tourist goods, this sells quality hand-woven fabrics, painted ceramics and gifts made from olive wood. Hike along the Corfu trail to Old Sinies: Once a sprawling sheep-herding community, the mountain village of Old Sinies is now a crumbling ghost town. Wandering around its deserted stone cottages and churches is a wee bit spooky. To pick up the trail, head north along the road to Vinglatsouri then follow the well-marked route. It’s a bit of a steep one, so don’t forget the sturdy shoes, picnic and water. Water Sports: All types of water sports are available in Nisaki, next to Nisaki Beach Hotel, s.a. ski, paragliding, ringos, banana riding, etc. Rent a boat and explore the coast: Become your own captain and explore the idyllic rocky coasts and small coves or stop at one of the various beachfront tavernas to enjoy the delicious Corfiot specialties. Go snorkeling: Purchase your own gear from a tourist shop or supermarket and explore the underwater world.Nightlife
