General
Villa Katerini is a traditional stone house (built on 17th century), really spacious for a family or party of eight people, located just 5 minutes drive from Gaios in Paxos, air-conditioned, with a large private pool and it offers amazing views and sceneries over the Ionian Sea.
Layout
This tranquil stone villa is set in two levels.
The ground level consists of an open plan with sitting – dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, separated by a nice stone working surface, a family shower room and three bedrooms: Two twins (with en-suite shower and bathroom) and a double one.
At the front of this area is set a spacious balcony, with stunning sea views, sitting – dining facilities and it is roofed with a wooden traditional pergola.
At the back, another sitting – dining area is set by the fixed BBQ, for those ones who would wish to dine al fresco or try their cooking skills.
Through an interior staircase can be reached the fourth double bedroom, on the upper level, which also features an en-suite shower room.
Pool and Terraces
An exterior stone staircase is landing from the ground level to a lower area, where the private large pool is nicely located in the middle of the sunny terraces, which are surrounded by traditional stone walls and overlook the Ionian Sea.
The ideal location of villa Katerini in Paxos, together with the spectacular views, the short proximity to Gaios and to all local facilities, make this tranquil property an ideal nest for those ones who would wish to have a memorable holiday away from it all.

Gaios - Paxos
Gaios is concerned as the capital of Paxos Island and the biggest port, with large ferries, hydrofoils, sea taxis and (occasionally) the hydro plane from Corfu.
Gaios is the largest town on the island. It is still relatively small and quaint with Venetian architecture, a maze of side streets and pedestrians square on the seafront stripe.
Restaurants and snack bars are scattered throughout the town, to cover all tastes and demands.
The surrounding olive grove is offering a high standard of local Greek cuisine, which is a must for each visitor.
Local amenities include a post office, banks, chemist, doctor’s surgery, gift shops, high-school, jewelery and handmade craft shops, as well as supermarkets, bakeries and butchers.
Gaios hosts the only night club on the island and its range of waterfront bars is extensive from a quiet traditional coffee place to livelier bars playing a variety of music.
There is a limited number of taxis based here and a bus service, which is not very regular, but when running enables you to get to the resorts of Loggos and Lakka or smaller neighbourhoods in between.
Gaios is one of the most popular and cosmopolitan resorts in Mediterranean.
Hundreds of VIPs are visiting Gaios or living at their private properties every summer and finding a place to stay in the peak season is a big bet.
