Beautiful spacious villa with amazing views

Holiday Rating: 5

Villa secillia is a spacious & clean villa with 4 good sized bedrooms all with en suite plus a separate toilet and jacuzzi, it is in an area called KIsla which is a five min taxi ride to the centre costing just over £2, there is a local shop called Bob which has the basics but for anything else just WhatsApp one of the taxi numbers on the fridge door & ask to be taken to Migros which is a more well stocked supermarket. The villa has a well equipped kitchen although we only made breakfast and snacks as it is cheap enough to eat out every night, our favourite was the old st bar in the centre next to a great bar called the shade lounge. We also had Chinese and pizza delivery to the villa. The pool Was cleaned every morning and the Villa was fully cleaned after our first week. I would say that the best part about it were the stunning views over the harbour, especially the sunset, the deck above the pool was great for extra sunbathing space and there is even a roof terrace for late afternoon sun, with 10 sun beds we had plenty of options, our daughter particularly loved the jacuzzi with us on the 3rd floor and also had a big window with the great views. Kalkan is very pretty with quaint cobbled streets and the people were lovely. The men enjoyed the many sports channels that were available on the TV in the villa and the WiFi was good except for the 3rd floor which wasn’t really an issue, we went on a boat trip on sea Bella which was a full day in lunch for £12 per adult and £6 for children, we also took a taxi to a local sandy beach with gorgeous turquoise water (the beach nearest the villa was pebbled) but Kalkan beach club is another good day out just a walk down the hill from the villa, lunch, drinks and water slide free sun beds just pay for what you have had to eat and drink at the end of the day. We would definitely return and would highly recommend.

Relaxing location and stunning views!!!

Holiday Rating: 5

This is a great place if you want to have a relaxing a peaceful place to stay. No need to rent a car, as the taxi are very cheep in Kalkan (5 pounds!). All of the bedrooms have great views of the town and harbour. It is great to wake up in the morning. The maintenance company was amazing and sorted everything quickly for us. The pool guy was very friendly and we cannot speak highly enough for the this villa and we are already recommending it to all our friends back home. We have already looking into booking for October (flights permitting).

Fantastic family villa looking to Kalkan

Holiday Rating: 5

It was our first time to Turkey and we were happy to stay in this property. The directions from the airport with the use of photos from Eos were very easy and it only 1 1/2 hours to get there. Our first impression is that the photos of the property do not do it justice. It was our first time to Turkey and we were happy to stay in this property. It is a very easy drive to the centre of the village, just 3 minutes to walk to the beach, fantastic views to Kalkan and harbour. The rooms of the villa are fantastic, clean, spacious and well laid out to stay with friends and family. The highlight of our holiday was the roof terrace, where we enjoyed sunsets and many meals with the family. Overall this is a fantastic villa and we will not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

We love Villa Sicillia, and the fact that this was our second stay probably says it all!!

We love Villa Sicillia, and the fact that this was our second stay probably says it all!! The pool is wonderful, offering sun sea views and seclusion! The location of the villa, a 20-minute walk from Kalkan centre and harbour, is also a winner. We enjoyed our morning and evening strolls into the town with its excellent restaurants, market and shops - usually taking a taxi or 'Dolmus' ride back - but we were also glad to leave the bustle behind and wake up each morning to tranquility and stunning views over Kalkan Bay.

We had a wonderful holiday and the villa was great. The pool and outside were well maintained and were attended to daily. Suleyman was attentive and very efficient and personable. The villa was serviced well to a high standard. The views from the 2 main bedrooms were amazing.

A realised dream with exceptional view. I am charmed.

Holiday Rating: 5

We had an exceptional week full of adventures in Kalkan. Beautiful nature, historical monuments, clean sea and most important of all kind and welcoming people. Here's the moment to thank to the representative. His name is Suleiman Aki. He was always available and responsive, he helped us with our holiday, the little problem with the air conditioning was fixed in no time he was so good to send us even the forgotten items. The villa is beautiful. A realised dream with exceptional view. I am charmed. Villa Sicillia is my favorite.

Kalkan - Turkey

Kalkan - Turkey

Kalkan is a Mediterranean fishing village located on the turquoise coast of Turkey, not touched as yet by the mass tourism.
This charming village nestles around a historic harbour sheltered at the foot of the towering Mountain of Taurus, overlooking a bay with small islands floating upon the glittering sea.
Kalkan is a very peaceful place with unique atmosphere, narrow streets twisting down to the harbour and remains to the high preference of repeated visitors who are looking to something more than a <<sun and sea>> holiday. The area includes many historical sites (such as Tlos and Kekova) and many fine beaches (such as Patara Beach & Kaputaş Beach).
The narrow twisted streets are lined with small local specialities shops and restaurants established in historic buildings, with hanging Ottoman – Greek carved timber balconies and decorated with thick coloured bougainvillea.
Resort’s main economy is tourism and the locals put much pride and effort into town’s historic preservation, which is resulting into Kalkan protecting its distinctive Ottoman – Greek architecture and its very strict building codes.
In opposition to the well-known “Kalkan Style” architecture, the numerous restaurants contribute to the special appearance of the village and good dining remains a way of life up today for the locals and the visitors. For this reason Kalkan is considered as the place with the highest number of restaurants and bars per inhabitant on the Turkish coast.
The locals sincerely love to know their guests and for this reason visitors are warmly welcomed on a universal friendliness along with the characteristic Turkish hospitality. (Do not hesitate to accept one of the many flower shaped cups of tea you will be offered whilst you are wondering along Kalkan’s narrow streets.
The population is a mixture of Istanbul Turks and Turks from other districts, who have turned Kalkan into their own home with their own small family businesses and feel really proud of what they have created in this charming part of Mediterranean.
