General
Zoulis Sophia in Kalami Corfu is one of the two ground floor apartments in a complex consisted of four self – catering apartments, known as Zoulis Apartments.
The apartment is situated only a few steps from the famous Kalami – Corfu and it is ideal for those who would like to spend a holiday in a quite resort.
Zoulis Sophia has got balconies with stunning sea views, one at the front and one at the side of the property.
The apartment sleeps up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. There is however a possibility to accommodate 1 extra child on request.
Layout
As you enter into the apartment, you come into the dinner/kitchen area with enough chairs for 4 people.
Both twin bedrooms are sharing private balconies with views to Kalami bay.
Zoulis Sophia apartment has also got a family shower room, recently renovated to a good standard.
Air-con is included in the price and also towels and linen are provided free of charge.
Kalami Beach is only 20 metres away. You can access it from a path that runs adjacent to the property and leads down to this famous shingle beach.
Kalami Beach has three (3) beach front restaurants, Kalami Beach, Thomas Place and the White House taverna. All of them offer very good service and provide a wide variety of dishes.
Kalami Corfu has all that a holidaymaker would need. More than enough supermarkets, souvenir shops, cocktail bar and pool bars.
You can also rent a boat from one of the jetties to go around and enjoy the day or pop on one of the frequently running boata that go around to Agni Bay, Kerasia, Nissaki or Saint Stefanos bay to try one of the many other restaurants and tavernas.

The perfect relaxing break

This 2 bed apartment was perfect for my friend and me to spend a week writing our new novels. Its so close to the beach that we woke to the sound of the waves and were able to watch the sunrise over the water. The 2 balconies were a bonus and the bathroom looked brand new. Great location for tavernas, supermarkets and beach!

Well situated apartment

The property had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay and is well situated for the local tavernas, bars and supermarkets. It is just a few moments from the beach and the jetty where the water taxis dock for the Agni Bay restaurants. It was like having door to door service! We did have a slight issue with our mobile phone signal and the wifi dropping in and out, but once we were able to establish contact, the property owner quickly responded to our enquiry. We'd recommenf staying in this property and wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

We loved staying at Zoulis Sophia, the apartment was as described inside and immaculately clean. The view was sublime and we loved spending time on the balcony watching the boats. The location was perfect for the beach, restaurants and shops. It was peaceful yet convenient. It was equipped with everything we needed and the communication before hand was superb. Really close to the sea, a few steps, in a lovely beach

The apartment Sophia Zulis of the Supronius is a great place for the price they pay. Really close to the sea, a few steps, in a lovely beach, in a quiet village. And see the sea from both rooms. The weather in mid-October was perfect! There are close writers, and good restaurants on the beach. Our 14, and 15-year-old girls roamed free in the village, confidently, and there was no room for worry, which is part of what made the family vacation suitable for everyone. And with a vehicle it's really easy to get there to the whole island, and any kind of recreation actually. We highly recommend this apartment, it has everything you need, and a small kitchen but good enough to cook at home if you want. The staff always answered all over the phone, and communication was perfectly reasonable. The neighbors around are quiet and pleasant, we would happily go back there, not too far from the airport, and everything around is just easy and pleasant, for a family or couples vacation or a single.

It’s a beautiful quiet place Kalami ( we were out of season, early May) . Our flat was clean and had all we needed. The kitchen was rickety but we didn’t mind that. The view from the balcony was stunning. The key was in the door waiting for us. The internet was strong. The hand over woman at the end was lovely. The apartment is in a wonderful location, about ten meters from a wonderful small beach at Kalami. When we were there, in April 2018, we were practically alone at the beach. The water was cold, but not prohibitively so. We did swim when the sun was out - which was most days. There are also wonderful walks around the area. It is a bit remote from the town (about 45 mins) and ideally one needs a car. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. The hosts were friendly and professional throughout. There are many shops around (although the local shops and restaurants in Kalami were all closed in April). Kalami is also very close to the wonderful walking area of 'Erimitis'. All in all a wonderful and highly memorable family holiday. Highly recommended.

Уборка и смена белья и полотенец неожиданно для нас раз в 3 дня! Минимаркеты недалеко, но полноценно закупиться там нельзя. Большие супермаркеты (Dielas) ближе к Керкире. На пляже отличный! ресторан-таверна Thomas's place. От аэропорта 40 мин на машине. Связь с "командой поддержки" через смс, отвечали оперативно до тех пор, пока не пожаловались им на то, что пропал вайфай. После этого долго на связь не выходили, а затем последовали отписки
Служба поддержки долго не отвечала на запрос об отсутствии wi-fi, проблема так и не была решена.

Lovely place for a peaceful holiday

This is an ideal apartment if you want peace and quiet and a lovely view from the balcony. Almost on the beautiful Kalami beach. It is fairly basic accommodation, but very clean and has all that is needed as a base for a holiday. Good air con in both bedrooms. Eos were very good communicators, checking in with us to make sure all was ok during the holiday and responding quickly to any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean fairly comfortable, basic. Our overall experience was good

After visiting kalami many times due to restricted mobility, we needed somewhere with easy access to shops, restaurants and the beach. This apartment certainly met our needs.
We did find kalami to be a little neglected and needs some work to bring it back to how we remember it.
Eating out is much more expensive due to the exchange rate etc. But the Nicholas taverna in Agni bay was by far the cheapest.
We hired a car and spent most of our days on the lovely beach of Kerasia. Kalami was very busy and the boardwalk was uneven and dangerous, I had a nasty fall and wasn't the only one.
We think this is the last time we will visit Kalami due to age etc. Our overall experience was good

Kalami Corfu
Kalami is one of Corfu’s most picturesque spots. It is located 30km from Corfu town and is a settlement of Gimari village.
The main beach lies in front of the settlement and it is composed by white shiny pebbles and turquoise waters. Kalami beach is worldwide famous at it had inspired the English author Gerald Darrell for his novel “My Family and the other Animals”, during his stay in a village home, The White House which is still existing at the right hand-side of the bay. Apart from this, the beach has become popular for its cleanness and organization, while it offers a wide variety of water sports activities, boat hire and romantic coastal tavernas.
The settlement is surrounded by vast vegetation and lush green forests which attract many visitors.
Behind the beach you will find various accommodation amongst the trees, an ideal environment for peaceful and relaxing vacation and the best destination for the nature lovers.
Sports and nature
All types of water sports are available at the left handside of the bay. Walks among the olive grove to picturesque Kouloura or Agni Bay could be an amazing experience.Nightlife
Kalami is a family resort with a couple of bars, where families can spend their relaxing evenings watching the moon rising from the Albanian mountain. Greek or Karaoke nights can be joined up should someone wish so. For the more demanding ones the nearest place is Kassiopi, just ten minutes drive away.Culture & history
On the 21st of May is the name day of Saints Constantine and Helen. The locals celebrate the name day of the Saints with a festival in the back yard of the church. There is plenty of food with "souvlaki" or grilled lamb and soft drinks, retsina wine or beers. The people are dancing to traditional Corfiot and Greek songs played by a live band.
During the summer season, the festival of pie is organized at the same place. Local ladies are cooking their own pie recopies and offer them for free to everyone joining the party with a local band and traditional dances.
Every year the locals organize a Varcarola festival in Kalami. This is an old Corfiot event, where small boats, decorated with lights, sail along Kalami bay as the choirs of the Municipality sing traditional Corfiot songs called "cantades". Read more
